Whenever I’ve decided to create a new website I usually have one major question: How will I get visitors to my site? With billions of websites on the internet now, the phrase “needle in a haystack” really rings true. Of course, if you want to get traffic, you need to find a domain that is search-engine friendly.
Google’s adwords keyword tool will really help you determine which keywords have the most traffic. Once you’ve decided on some keywords, use a domain suggestions tool to find which domains are available for you to use. Remember to be creative when you are looking for suggestions. Sometimes it seems that all the domains we want are taken. However, you can always add a superfluous word or hyphens in order to find a domain that hasn’t been taken yet.
