I have always fancied myself to be a do-it-yourself expert. When I saw the Outdoor Fireplace Kit I knew I had to build one. My backyard was lacking a fireplace and I thought it would add value to my home. It was quite the undertaking but it only took me one weekend to complete. I had so much fun building it and I enlisted the help of my sons. It turned into a great bonding chore and it sparked my boys interest in building things. instead of buying or paying someone else to do it they learned that they are capable of doing it themselves.
