Thank You Cards Helped My Friend Deal With Grief
Funerals are a difficult time for the family of the deceased. When my best friend’s husband died, I tried to help her out as much as possible to make her grief easier to endure. Usually people say that they want to be left alone during the grieving period but they really need to talk to somebody. I was persistent to the point of annoying, showing up at all times of the day and night to check up on my friend. She finally agreed to let me help her make out the thank you cards to send to the people who gave flowers. It was a good ice breaker because while we sat there and made out the cards, she opened up to me.
