I Used to Think There Was Only One Way

I used to think that there was only one way to practice a guitar scale, and it involved going up the notes and back down them over and over again. I did this faithfully, and yet I wasn’t making any progress. I couldn’t figure out why. But while visiting a website selling a guitar scale program, I learned that practicing in this way was a huge mistake. I should be changing directions, practicing with background music, and moving all over the neck. The program promises to help me learn to do this, so I am definitely going to buy it. It is so cheap that I would kick myself if I didn’t.
